The Armstrong Gallery

Every show we have hung.

The Armstrong Gallery has run curated exhibitions, artist talks and live performances since 2024, carrying the mural park’s energy indoors. There is no show hanging at the moment. This is the record of the ones that have been, and the artists who made them.

Dog-eared thoughts and the authors that inspire them: how reading becomes raw material in a visual practice.

  2. Aether & Earth: Sensing the Imperceptible

Three artists on the liminal spaces between the visible and invisible, the tangible and ephemeral.

Bianca Valencia Criscuolo, Katie Southworth, Emily Swift
  3. Tracing Back, Moving Forward

A solo exhibition by Kate Lashin: memory, emotion and self-discovery in abstract paint.

    Kate Lashin
  4. The Artists Ignition

A curated photographic exhibition, with live music, on the moment every creative pursuit is born from.

    Sascha Bystrova, Eve Schiano
  5. Iterations: A Dialogue of Scale

Fifteen artists on repetition, refinement and growth, juxtaposing large-scale works with their smaller iterations.

Ina Anderson, Nicole Cantore Koester, Bianca Valencia Criscuolo, Tony DeZinno and 11 more
  6. Transitions

An exploration of metamorphosis, evolution and transformation, through many eyes.

    Emily Swift, Herm Freeman
  7. Manifestations of the Self

Nine artists on the multifaceted ways a practice explores identity: its formation, expression and constant evolution.

Bianca Valencia Criscuolo, Nicole Cantore Koester, Ian Maguire, Brad Noble and 5 more
  8. Homecoming

Katie Southworth’s first solo show since moving back to Connecticut: independence, transition and the sublime.

    Katie Southworth
  9. Beyond the Veil: Exploring the Tensions Between

Bianca Valencia Criscuolo’s first solo exhibition, threading five series through the tension between.

    Bianca Valencia Criscuolo
  10. Looking Forward

Four artists on the human capacity to look forward, and what it builds.

Katie Southworth, Bianca Valencia Criscuolo, Emily Swift, Nicole Cantore Koester

Between shows the gallery works as an event space, and the walls come back for the next one. If you make work and want to show it here, or you want the room for an evening, say so.
